After starting and running the motor for the oil change no problem. Changed the oil and filter and doing other engine checks went to start the motor again. Well that was the plan pushed the starter no sound checked to make sure I turn the key to the on position pushed it again still no go. Now check the starter battery , ok . What did I find? The ground wire on the motor side was missing its lug. Found the lug still on the motor and was snapped off. What it looks like the factory wanted to save on wire cost and made it ¼ inch longer than needed so after 17 years with the strain and vibration it failed. Now I have another check to the list, check wire connection points for security.

Add a negative ground buss. That way you only have one connection to the engine and the rest are to the buss bar and it's easier to inspect. Also less resistance than having multiple lugs stacked on the bolt to the engine.
