We are headed to the Grenadines the first week of April. Any places we shouldn't miss? ... any thing kids shouldn't miss?

Good for you!! Enjoy!

Lots of great places. Hit em all if you have the chance. But don't miss snorkeling through the bat caves just North of Petit Byahaut on the E coast of St. Vincent. We also really enjoyed a little hike up the hill from Salt Whistle Bay,on Mayreau, to the small village and church at the top. Down the path into the main part of "town", however, was the real treat. We enjoyed an afternoon snack of Bananas Foster and some excellent frozen drinks a Dennis's Hideaway so much that we came back 2 days later for the best dinner of the trip. Don' miss the Tobago Cays - great snorkeling - and if the kids are big enough and adventurous enough, go for a little hike to the top of nearby Jamesby Cay. We had a wonderful 11 days on a 42 Cat. Hope yours is just as good. By the way, be careful at Union Island. They will meet you 2 miles off shore and lead you in to "the best place" for whatever you want and then try to charge you outrageously for everything from tieing up,to the guide service in, to garbage disposal, to ice... Our only bad experience with locals in the area. Only took 2 rum punches to get over it!! Enjoy, Daryl
