Friday, the "day after" when we all were carrying that exra turkey ballast around, four members of the Hunter daysailors of Southern California Association got together for a most enjoyable day of sailing off Ventura California.Brian, Steve, and myself were sailing on Brian's Hunter 23, Dennis and his guest was sailing on Dennis's Hunter 216. Bright sunny clear day with a temperatures around 67 degrees and gentle winds 10-15 helped make this a great sailing day. the sea was gentle with an occasional 6 to 8 foot swell. no white capsThere must have been 40 plus sail boats out, all of different sizes and shapes while the marina area host a variety of small sail boats, jet skiers, ect. After sailing along the California cost for few hours we met back at the docks, pulled the boats out and finished the day off by having fish and chips at Andrea's while at the marina.Happy Thanks GivingGlenn
