Great Sail Today Too!!!
I also had a great sail today on Lake Pontchartrain out of Mandeville. Th heat & humidity finally broke and susbsided for a w eekend and my daughter and I took advantage of the cooler (88* temps) and finally, took our new sailboat (1979 C&C 29) for our first sail in her. I spent the long hot summer getting her ready, varnishing, learning it's diesel and getting her legal and I really enjoyed my first sail in her! Great weather and a good time with my 16 yr old. She actually wanted to go and actually asked me to take her sailing today, couldn't believe it!
