I've been up and down the Oregon coast from border to border many times and have never seen a place like you show in the picture. The Oregon dunes north of Coos Bay has the sandy beaches, but no palm trees just scrub pine and fir.

And I will be there on Friday, weather permitting. This is the best time of the year to go over to Catalina!
