GPS operating woes

I finally purchased a Garmin 276C GPS and the accompanying BlueChart. The unit appears to be superb. I say "appears" since I am having the devil of a time trying to load charts, road maps, etc onto said unit. In fact, I can't seem to do much more than watch the cute little line drawn that reveals where I have gone. ?? If anyone feels able to assist, perhaps via e-mail, I'd be very grateful.Richardrjwalter@snet.net

BlueChart Data Card

Richard,I also have the 276C. I purchased the Blue Chart Data Card for Southwest Florida from West Marine since that covered all the area I plan to sail. Simply by inserting the card into the GPS and then booting up the GPS I have all the chart data. It is a great unit. Hope this helps.Tim
