I'm chartering in the BVI in April and went and got the chart for the area. Does anyone have the GPS location for the entrance to Anegada? Please advise Also dumb question - The chart is in meters but when getting shallow indicates number with a smaller number beside it eg 20 with a small 5 What depth would this be??

Sailed there from Tortola in Nov. of 99' then back to Virgin Gorda, I don't have the Lat/Lon for the harbor but it was fairly well marked with small channel buoy's. The channel is on the SW side of the island I think by Pomato Point, there's a long dock and a beach bar that visible. The buoys start some distance out and take a winding course. Don't approach in the dark or rough weather, there's a reef that circles the island. I guess my recomendation is if you don't have a good map or first hand knowledge, don't try it. Anchorage is good just off the beach, its well worth the trip, make sure you tour the island. If you want to know more, write me at tom.lukas@state.me.us
