NOSA Newport - Ensenada Race, April 15, 2011

PROMETHEUS takes first in class (Cruising Spin B) and second in Cruising Overall.
Rick on ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT takes second in class (Cruising non-spin A)

Done this race for 25 years on everyone else's boat, and got some trophies, but this boat put the checkmark on the Bucket List.

Thanks Alan

As you can see, it was a creeper (36 hrs to go 125 mi.) I am constantly amazed at how well the boat does in real light air. Proved again last night on the beer can race. 6 kts wind and 3-5 ft steep waves. Beat last years champion (Catalina 42) boat for boat, and corrected on him by 5 mins. in a 3.1 mi. race! Uncanny. And I ain't braggin', it was "Put a Chick on the stick" night and my fav lady driver was steering.

Gotta love this boat!

You're so right about the light air stuff. If you push the right buttons she can be a demon. I've passed much faster rated ULDB's in the light stuff, to their amazement.
