Robert: Sorry for the shipping mix up - who needs 2 books and no chart!!!Good luck with your first race. Let us know how you make out. There is a section in the book about pre race setup, which I'm sure you have noted. Without getting overwhelmed and trying to do everything from a sail trim stand point just concentrate on draft depth (belly) by using your outhaul and twist by using the mainsheet and boom vang. On the jib, pay close attention to the section on how to set your fairleads. After that, just have fun but I'll bet you will be in the middle of the pack. I do the races in sections and each leg is a race in itself. That way I know what I have to work on. sort of like golf with driving, chipping, pitching and puting.
