Got My Android Phone Out of Jail Today....

JVB, Been to all of those websites. Most are just the same stuff repeated over and over. Tried them all and they just don't work. I have been hesitant to pay anyone for these advertised unlocking services. Chuck

I did it with my Palm Pre. After a couple hours on a Friday I got it to work. It was beautiful all weekend. Then on Monday I got a request for an online update, so I said sure. They slammed the door on that free tether. It was scary doing it with warning after warning of bricking your phone.
I'll be getting the Sprint Android version 4G on Sept 1 when I am eligible for an upgrade. Not sure which phone to take. New phone has 3D camera. Not sure if its worth extra cost.

If you root your phone you do not want accept those automatic updates. Many of them are nothing more than code blocks for rooting and other stuff that is not critical to your phones everyday use. If you installed the "backup" you should be able to roll your phone back and start over.. I got a request for an update too and simply declined. Still working very well.

Now keep in mind this guy is very tech savvy and I am not ... I am NOT technically savvy in ANY WAY so anyone could probably do this.

If you are not tech savvy in any way, then I am a total dunce with a single-digit IQ!! 'Cuz I have no flippin' idea what you are talking about!
