Gooseneck needs replacing. Where can I find one??

[Bob Kowalke Hull #417 Capri '25 1984]

Hello:I have a 1984 Capri ’25, hull #417, which I purchased in 2000.I need to replace the gooseneck assembly (track and bracket), which holds the boom to the mast.Also I am missing one of the rollers on the main prefeeder and am unable to use it.I bought a replacement main prefeeder but it sticks the sail out further from the mast than the original and it causes the sail to bind and jump the track when hoisting.I’ve been in touch with Catalina Yachts but they simply said they don’t make ‘em anymore and that’s that!So I’m up a creek.Can you point me to where I could obtain:1. A new gooseneck assembly, and2. Either a replacement roller for the original main prefeeder or the entire replacement prefeeder that actually works for the Capri ’25Thank you for any assistance you can give!

Hi There,Sometimes it seems like when you contact Catalina in Woodland Hills you would have been better off going somewhere else.It doesn't say much for their after sale support. If it wasn't made in the last 5 years then they don't have it.Well what I would do is contact Catalina Direct, they have an extensive inventory of parts for the Catalina, and it would realy surprise me if they didn't have access to the parts you need.They are online at catalinadirect.comHope you find it,Dave LaPere
