I have a Hunter 265 that I am considering moving to Lake Norman, NC. Can someone recommend a marina? Nothing too fancy, just something practical that would be comfortable for two adults and two kids.

All Seasons

All Seasons is a good place, but just a little remote, depending on where you live. From Charlotte, it's a pretty long drive, not very direct. It's really the only boat yard, so to speak, on the lake that can haul out your boat. Dixie and Dave are good people, so give them a try. In any event, you might have trouble getting slip space anywhere on Lake Norman - I just bought an old Hunter 27 and one of the primary considerations for me was that it came with a transferable slip.
