Sam's Club

Was just over in Sam's a few minutes ago. Group 27 Marine 180 RC are $69 and they had the GC2's 105 RC for $72.. I was about to lay out $125 for Interstate Grp 27's and have changed my mind...

I checked Costco in the Fall, but was not comfortable with the off brand they had on the shelf. Don't remember the name, but didn't ask anyone about special order. I may do that and look into them further.


I just found out that TSC carry the Deka line and should stock then or can order. I'll check for price.

Thanks Scott. Although he was in his 80's, was still going strong. Just had a quad bypass last year. We were close when I was much younger, spending our summer holidays with them.

Most of what I've been able to find are in the $ 150 - 170 range for the better makes. I'll let everyone know as I find out more info.

I have two group 27 walmart deep cycles as my house bank. No problems with them and they work just great for what I am doing. Since I don't have refridgeration anything more might be a bit of overkill.
