Can't find an owner's manual or operator instructions for the Goiyot (spelling right?) 308 manual windlass on my 92 Beneteau 38s5. Does anyone have one I can get a copy of, or know where I can get one? One specific question is: How do I put the gears into reverse to drop the anchor. It works fine in raising the anchor. Does it winch in both directions, or do I take it off the winch gears to drop it, then put it back on the winch to raise it??? Web searches on "Goiyot windlasses" comes up with no hits.
