Kermit advised he had not put in chorox in the water ballast tank and oh did he get a wiff when guess what he opened up, the air vent to the water ballast tank. I know he likes smells. Boy frogs do smell.

On a sadder note, this fall he is going to put up with crazy dave replacing the centerboard line which broke. I guess he sat on it too long and the line turned green in horrow and broke from fright. Sorry Kermit had to tell it that way.

Here's how it actually happened. Uncle Crazy is right. I didn't put Clorox in the ballast tank even though he had suggested doing so in earlier threads. We never had problems with smells in the ballast before now. I could smell it before even boarding the boat. It was a god-awful sewer smell that anyone would assume was coming from the holding tank. I pulled the boat and emptied the ballast and the smell running down the ramp was what Stephen King novels are made of.
Upon Dave's advice I added 1/2 gallon of Clorox as the ballast tank was filling. The smell is completely gone now.

As for the centerboard line, it broke.

I actually forward to seeing everyone's favorite crazy uncle again soon.
