Does anyone know what the layup schedule for the top of the cockpit coaming is in a 192/222?
I will be installing a Wave Front Marine Tiller Clutch, and it works best with the control lines led to the aft corners of the cockpit, and secured by fairlead style clam cleats. It's easier to adjust the tension of the control lines with clam cleats than, say, cleating to the aft dockline cleats.
I figured I'd drill, bed properly, and screw in these clam cleats to the top of the cockpit coaming in the aft corners. Seems to me they wouldn't have used balsa coring in these very narrow areas, but I figured I'd check so I'd know if I had to epoxy seal the holes...
Thanks,
Brian
