Need some ideas here. What would a new EE graduate want for a gift? Is there one thing every EE would want or find useful? I know for new lawyers, a Black's Law Dictionary is one of those things. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

A lab quality digital multimeter. They will read voltages to 0.001 . You can watch the digits change as a battery is charged for example. You can find high resistance electrical connections. I am sure there are lots of other applications.
As an Electrical Engineer with a full Resume, (and recently laid off) it is sad to say that I was serious on all of the items.....

That is pretty cool, though a bit more than I want to spend. I haven't seen a slide rule since high school (mid-70s)!!
