wow.. thanks for all the replies...in the L.A. area, and I know that it depends on what harbor you might be using,but generally, how much do the fee's run for a slip. Say.. for a boat around 26 to 28 ft..

Roughly $8-$15 Per Foot

..depending. Low end in some of LA Harbor, mid range in Redondo, MDR and Long Beach. Downtown Long Beach has lots of slips available. Not everyone charges for the slip length if larger, but most do. Utilities may be extra. Newport Beach is more. Call The Log and ask them if they have a Slips Guide available. They usually publish one a year. Will make life easier when the time comes. Also think about slips at a yacht club and joining. Rick D.
