Georgetown, SC is reported to be a favorite of ICW cruisers, both by the guide and people I have met along the way. I have yet to get ashore to check out the town but I can already see that tolerance of the liveaboard and cruising lifestyle is one of its charms.
I once referred to Rockport, Maine as a harbor full of boats to die for. Words sort of fail me here so this is a collection of photos looking for a caption.
The lifeline nettings of this boat are made from that rough cut, pressure treated, lattice stuff you get at lumber stores. There are large piles of it on deck awaiting completion of this safety modification.
