My 1999 Hunter 410 has never had a genset. I am presentlly installing one. The Hunter Owners Manual for this boat shows the Genset hot wire connects to the electrical panel at the same post that the shore power hot line connects to. The neutral line of the genset does connect to the genset on/off switch post, while the neutral line from the shore power connects to the 30A AC switch post. The slide prevents both switches being on at the same time. From that it appears that the ground circuits control which circuit is active. My original thought was that the power or hot circuits would be the switching circuits. I would appreciate any comments. Regards, Bobweiser
