Can anyone with such experience advise me regarding adding a generator to my 2004 326? Where to locate it and brand/size would be very helpful.

Genset on a 32 footer
Dont get me wrong but any formidable size genset is gonna be tough to stuff in your boat. Why not look at the Honda 2000 variety portables. The are quiet. Just put it downwind and they will probably take care of your needs on a 32 footer. You can even run your a/c if its a Mermaid and 9000 btu or less. Check them on ebay. Food for thought. Cheers

I am not familiar with the lay out of your boat but my hunter 30 has a small cock pit and stowing a gen set would be darn near impractical. I agree with Rick regarding the Honda-2000. I have a 16700 BTU central unit and the honda runs it nicely and is very quiet. Good Luck and fair winds; Chuck
