Genoa with multiple attachment points at clew

Saw a genoa furled today on a brokerage boat at the dock. It had 5 or 6 attachment points for the sheet, in a half-moon at the clew.
I'm guessing it's a racing thing.
Why the multiple points?
Couldn't find any info on Google.
I neglected to take a picture, so
I attached a nearly useless pic here from the listing; it's the only one on the listing that shows the clew. The sheet is attached to the bottom point.

Looks like a self tacking jib that sheets to the track in front of the mast. My guess is that the holes allow some adjustment of sheeting angle, since there aren't fore/aft cars for that.

Selden makes one that uses that half moon clew, Hanse has a factory installed system of their own.

I wonder why there are two sheets if that is a self tacking jib on a track? I wonder if it is set up to be furled to a point to allow self tacking but, for lighter wind or reaching, sheeted further back which would warrant the variety of sheeting angles provided by that fancy clew fitting.

The boat can be rigged either self tacking or standard. Owner has is currently rigged standard.
