Hello All, I have a number of cracks across fastener holes on my genoa track on Wind Song and a section under the jib block carried away this summer. Original track is 1-1/4"316 SS, sitting on top of a feather on the toe rail. I need to replace both P/S tracks. Have been having a challenges locating this track in SS or has been quoted at a crazy price. Has anyone had experiance replacing these tracks on Caravelles or Challengers?

all my upgrades of tracks on Aeolus over the years have been Harken.
i'm in wisconsin, so is Harken.
Aeolus was maintained by Palmer Johnson's service yard from the 70's till they closed. still at same yard. new owners. (not the same scene)
i'd call Harken's home office. see what they say. they know what an alden is.
prolly ain't cheap. the best never is.

Late to respond but I did this recently along with a section of toe rail.
Time consuming job. …got rid of a few leaks as a bonus. Went with Schaefer t-track if not mistaken. Choosing the track is the least if your concerns however.
