Genoa T Track, to curve or not to curve?

The paperwork I have states a Mark II. Not a big difference from Mark I. The design is close.

Call this number, (818) 884-7700, your paperwork is wrong. Just want you to protect yourself in case you ever sell. You don't want to false advertise. Can come back to haunt you.

The shorter track (by 9 inches) does not effect anything. The old 48 track on the toe rail goes all the way back practically to the base of the winch. You wouldn't move the car that far back even flying a 150 genoa, even if you did you'd no longer have a fair lead to the winch.

My orig. track was at the toerail. I did not get the right sail shape with the track outboard.
It seemed that my 155 had a flatter rear sail shape & knot an aerodynamic shape throughout. Just look at the newer designed boats & where their tracks are set. That's what gave me the idea.

That's the great part of owning a boat, modifying it to suit your needs.
Paint job looks good!

How long have you had the paint on and how has the durability been?

I gotta tell ya man that this stuff is tough.

3-4 years ago, I found a 2-part topside paint from a company called w/logo "Top Secret."
Checking them out, I found that they had just recently went commercial. Until this time,
their deck painting was primarily for military ships for the Navy & Coast Guard.
They may have changed their logo name since but, this stuff has been bullet-proof thus far for me.

The secret though is in proper preparation first. I see folks unhappy with their re-coat project but asking them for details, they failed in the correct preparation. I did my project right at the dock.
