I have just purchased a 35s5 that requires a complete new suit of sails. I know nothing about the standard genoa size, but assume it is around 150%. I will be sailing the boat on the western end of Lake Erie. Average winds are 5-15 knots with occasional days of 20+ knots. I want to ask present 35s5 owners what size genoa they have, what the conditions are when you reduce sail, etc.I remember my days when I had a Bristol 30 on Long Island Sound with a 170% genoa that was just too much 65% of the time. I had it trimmed to a 150% and I was much more pleased. 140-145% might have been ideal. So, please tell me, what Genoa, Jib combinations you think are ideal for roller furling. I'm hesitating between having a new 150% genoa made or a new 140%.What do you think??Thanks,
