Genoa sheet length on an O'Day 272?

I just discovered that when my boat was broken into a couple of months ago, not only were flares stolen, but also my genoa sheets. I wonder if anyone with a similar model might know the length of their sheets? I can go and rig up a substitute, but if someone has the information on top of their head, it would be a big help. By the way, found a duck egg in my cockpit this morning! That was a first. It was laid since yesterday at 10:30 A.M. when I left the boat after it was splashed. Thanks for your help!

1.5 times the length

usually 1.5 times the boat's lenght for each sheet. So, approx. 35 ft. per sheet, or if you go with one sheet doubled over 70 ft.As a matter of fact, right now on ebay they are selling 80 ft. od 3/8 samson XLS extra (dyneema core, lightweight, strong) for approx $45. That's MORE than 1/2 off the cost from West/Defender/Layline, etc.etc. The XLS Extra makes GREAT Sheets (excellant low stretch halyards too)Mike C.O'28 "Da Capo"
