Genoa Recut for roller furler

I'm planning on installing a roller furler on my OD25 this spring and will need to have my genoa recut for the furler. Anyone who has had this done with good results and a fair price I would appreciate the name and phone number of the loft you have used. Living in Durango Colorado I can't just run down to the local sail loft. The West Coast would be closer but not a requirement. I'll ship the sail anywhere for good work and a resonable price. Sail Modification

I had my sail modifed for a roller fuler by Bob Wolfe from Wolfe Sails in Topeka, Kansas. He did a great job at a resonable price. Don't know if he is still in business. His number is 913-286-1515.

I would at least consider a foam luff

Paul - This may become a project for another year, but since having luff-tape and sunshade installed will be a bunch of boat bucks you might want to think about it now.I would consider having a foam luff in your headsail. This is an insert that helps a partially furled or reefed sailed maintain an efficient shape. I have been told that such an insert can be refitted to an existing sail, though I have no experience with a sail so modified. It would be a costly modification and unless your headsail is pristine it probably would not be worth it. A new headsail is a major purchase, but if you're alraedy looking at a $300 modification, it might be worth it. From a performance standpoint, it certainly is.Justin - O'day Onwers' Web

Re-cut Sail

When we lived in KS Wolf sails did some work for us, very good work and a very reasonable price. If you contact any of the marinas on Perry Lake KS they can probably get you his location and #. (Try DJ's marina)
