Genoa or spinnaker?

Will the addition of a new genoa (?135% or 150%) help my performance more than the addition of a asymetrical spinnaker? I also question how other 23.5/240 owners have dealt with rigging for a larger genoa or a spinnaker? What type of cleats/blocks/winches are used and what is best placement?

Spinnaker

My hunter is larger, but my experience is that when beating the larger jib gives some additional performance, but not really as much as one might expect. Larger headsails come into their own close reaching and up to about 120 degrees. After that I think the spinnaker would be far superior. In my generally light air sailing area I think the spinnaker would be more entertaining over a wider range of wind angles for about the same investment as a larger jib. Just my 2 cents.
