Genoa control lines for a Oceanis 50, 2018

Hello, I own a Oceanis 50, 1998, and we are changing part uf the running rig.
The boat came with 16mm Genoa control lines. I am trying to find a small option, but can't find what is the tensile capacity needed for this rope.

This article suggests 1/2" or 12 mm for cruising and7/16" or 11 mm for racing Rope Diameter and Type.xlsx (rigworks.com). My Hunter 46 has 12 mm Samson LS for the head sail sheets. These offer low elastic stiffness that reduce shock to the rigging and head sail. The attached article may be helpful in your sheet selection and provides breaking strength and stiffness specifications.

Your Genoa could be bigger as the 650sqft is from the newer 50.
