Genoa Cars on 373

I need to replace the genoa car blocks on my 2005 Beneteau 373. The edges of the original blocks have chipped away by banging on the cabin roof when the jib sheets are flopping during tacking. The original design seems faulty; there is no stop mechanism on the car that prevents the block from flopping against the cabin roof. I am concerned that ordering replacements from Beneteau will get me the same product and same problem. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

My B323 has left and right hand blocks, and they are not the same. Maybe yours are on the wrong side?

Ditto Ron's comment. if they are Lewmar cars, there is definitely a left and right. If you have them switched , you can still disassemble them ad switch the "stop" without having to remove them from the track. Do whatever looks easier for you.
