I want to install a Fischer Panda 8 Kw diesel generator in my Hunter 45 CC, and would appreciate any feed back, both good and bad regarding this make of generator, and your experience with them. Thanks, Jeff

We have the same generator on our 470
It now has about 400 hours and except for changing the oil every 50 hrs I've not had to touch it. Its very quiet, starts immediatley and use about 1 qt of fuel an hour.

FIsher Panda 4kw
Have the Fisher Panda 4kw genset on my Catalina 380 and love it. Had some minor problems with it a couple years ago, the Fisher Panda folks in Florida handled my problem professionally and I was back up and running. It is very quiet, provides all the power I really need. 4kw means that I cannot run both air units and the hot water heater at the same time, but I can manage my power consumption and do extremely well.
