genaker halyard

We have a 1988 285 First. Is there anyone with a diagram or photo they can post showing the masthead where the genaker halyard exits. We are wondering if ours is rigged incorrectly. It is exiting below the jib. The lines are all internal, and we are hoping we do not have to add a block & lines externally. Thanks, Ciny

halyard exits at forestay adjacent to jib halyard. not at the masthead but at the forestay attachment

On my First 310 the jib halyard exits below and the spin halyard above the forestay attachment point.
