Gemini Compass for 83 C-30

I have a 1983 C-30 and need to find a Compass that fits the Pedestal I have the orginal Gemini compass but I have had it reparied and the seal failed again. Any ideas what to do? I can not find one that fits. Thank youGreg Butcher-Prime Time-original owner

I have a Gemini on my 84 C30 which I had rebuilt 3 years ago, still in great shape. I think Rule bought Aquameter so they should have something to fit. I have also seen Gemini's on the web, as I recall, they were about $250. Google them.

Ritchie Navigator Binnacle Mount

I just replaced the Aquameter Gemini compass on my C30. I purchased a Ritchie Navigator (Binnacle mount model), and it fit my Edson pedestal just fine. In fact, I believe they say this model will fit all sailboat pedestals.

When the compass failed on my 1984 C-30 I was able to find a new compass of similar size at a flea market. The only problem was that it didn't fit the mounting holes of my Edson pedistal. I purchased a cheap, white, plastic cutting board at a local household store and cut it to fit over the pedistal. I drilled it using the old compass to fit the mounting holes and then screwed down the new compass to it. The installation is perfect and it looks like it is part of the pedistal.
