I am trying to patch some gel coat chips and scratches. I have purchased white gel coat and hardner but have found that not all boats have the same white color. Does Beneteau have a color code for their white gel coats or will I have to get some colors and blend them to get a close match?

All colors fade and white fades too so the original formulation won't help you match what you have now. In fact white, and there are a myriad of shades, is the most difficult to match. Mixing is essential to get it right regardless of the factory color.
If you go to iBoats.com you can select gel coat color by the brand and the year the boat was manufactured. That should serve as a good starting point.

One of their patch kits came with my Beneteau 31, and it matched perfectly.
Even if the new patch is a little brighter than the old gelcoat, a few months in the sun will cure that.
