Gel Coat Crazing

My 1987 222 has hair-line cracks (crazing) in several areas on the cabin top near the hatch slides. Would like to fix asap as I am concerned about water penetrating and causing prblems with the balsa (plywood) core. Any ideas? Thanks Joe Spadaro Saranac Lake, NY

Same problem on my 22'er. Plus gouges. I'm filling in gouges with a 2-part filler. I think there's some paints or something that can go over crazing, but I've also heard that the crazing shows thru that eventually. You may want to seek professional counsel. And after you resolve the problelm, you may, again, want to seek professional counsel. heh-heh.
