Any ideas what colorants to add to "white" gel-kote to match the original? Rich K.

Matching.

Rich - Go to home depot or whatever and get some color samples close to the boat. Then take them back to the boat and get a good match. Then go back to HD and ask the paint department to tell you which pigments make that color. Don't worry about it if there are lots of pigments, just mix up a batch and add the major guys in the right ratios and spread out a sample on a chip, then check it against the boat. I think you'll be pleased. Justin - O'day Owners' Web

Justin has good advise

Richard, Another way is to invite your friend the artist, everyone knows atleast one, to come and color match for you. Not only do they have an eye for shades of of white but it give you someone to blame for the mismatch. r.w.landau
