Gas to Diesel?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me at approximately what hull number the switch from
gas (petrol) to diesel engines was made? ... and what year that was?

Hi Peter

It was in 1971 and round about Hull 1385.

I know that V1395 (Goodwinds) is Diesel and that V1381(Soulage) was an
ex-Petrol (Gaseoline).

Hi Richard

Yes they canged from the 021 to the 022 so you probabbly had teh first of
the 022 Petrol Engines after the 021 Petrol engine.
