gas locker

I am wondering why the port fuel locker does not accomidate the fuel line from the external fuel tank to the outboard motor when the lid to the locker is closed: the fuel line gets pinched off. Am I doing something wrong or is there a good fix for this?

Notch in lid

On my '86 Cat 22 the lid has a "notch" in the aft section that allows the gas hose to go through. I then feed it through the scupper and right to the outboard.

hole on stern gutter

On my '71, she has a hole in the back side of the locker above the gutter and below the lid lip. Works well. I did'nt see it at first so maybe you have one.
