I bought a GPS above and wanted to know what I have to do to upload from a CO. It has one connector (7 pin) for power and connection to a autopilot but nothing regarding a CO. ??

Try www.gpscables.com. when I needed to upgrade my unit and needed a cable I found this site and their price are the best I had seen and the service was two days from the time I called to order. The Garmin upgrades worked great. Ron

Cable & Program

Ron hit it on the head. The combination can cost some. The program comes with the cable and is great for storing GPS data in Garmin format. However, if you do much on the intercoastal or inland, consider picking up Delorme's Street Atlas. I can download data from my Garmin 48 to it, locate my waypoints on it. Or conversely identify a location on the Street Atlas, find the long/lat, and plug that into my gps manually. Works for me.

Thanks for the information on the Garmin GPS126

Thank you all for the help regarding my Garmin126, CO to GPS uploading problem. As it turns out a Garmin Rep. told me that the cable needed was part number 010-10150-00 not available at West Marine. The next time I get to the store I will give the part# to West Marine to order the cable. I have no idea why I had such a problem finding an upload cable in the first place.
