garmin 740s and airmar transducer have different connectors

Hello,

I recently bought a garmin 740s chartplotter and a airmar in hull p79 transducer. Problem is that the connectors are mix matched.

garmin has a 6 pin male and the transducer has a 6 pin male connector. I can only find a 6 to 8 connector but it doesnt look right.

Anyone else have this problem?

You ideally need the Garmin version of the P-79. Airmar makes a P-79 for just about everyone and they all use a slightly different connector.
