I am thinking replacing my Garmin 2006 GPS for a Gramin 720.
I am not sure that the high price ($1299.00) is worth it?
Any comments, experience with this unit?

I purchased the Garmin 720 on ebay for $1049. I have not yet installed it in my boat but when used with the 'vision' charts it has excellent interface and readouts. I will be joining it with radar next year. The chart I use is the BC intercoastal vision chart. It goes from Skagit Bay San Juans to the North end of Vancouver including around the West coast to Winter Harbour.
I like the Garmin Homeport Computer program that you can plot on then transfer to the boat gps.
Not a lot of help but some.
