I had solved this problem once before but after upgrading the software in the Gramin 176 it went back to its old self, and I had forgotten what I did. Go Figure....Solved again...Gramin 176 sending data to Raymarine 4000Problem: After defining several waypoints and defining a route for the garmin to follow and hence the boat. After getting to the first waypoint the Garmin would advance to next wp and tell the autopilot. The autopilot would start beeping and telling me to press the track button to advance to next waypoint. Would not happen, just keep beeping no matter how much I pressed it. Problem is in how the waypoints are defined in the Advance NEMA setup, it should be set to numbers.Look at the photo fourm, I have placed three pictures of the screens to help with the change. Not sure how many Garmin's are set this way but if you are having tracking problems, you might check it.JimS/V Java
