Garhauer is A-1 in my book

I am pleased to report that Garhauer is A-1 in my book. Approximately 4 yrs ago I purchased their traveler and 8 additional midsized blocks. Not to long ago I notice that two of the the blocks had lost the small plastic waffer that forms a bushing between the shackle attachment pin and the blocks casing. I called Garhauer in an effort to obtain replacements. The young lady I was speaking with asked without hesitation that I ship all 8 blocks back in order that they be inspected and repaired. I did just that and a week later I was holding 8 brand new blocks at no charge. What a GREAT company to work with. Your buck goes along way with Garhauer.

My recent story is much the same. I lost the bearings in my 21 year old Gauhauer traveler car. On Monday I shipped the traveler car to Gauhauer. Tuesday this week I got the car back. They shipped it back repaired within 48 hours of having recieved it. Gauhauer loaded new bearing just as I had requested. Without my requesting it they also replaced the bearings in the turning blocks, the ss plate holding the blocks in place and replaced the bail with new bolts. The total charge was $35.00. They took the time to talk to me on the phone twice and were very helpful and nice. It sure feels good to deal with someone like Gauhauer!
