Garboard drain

Well I tried to get the drain out. No luck. Used an easy out and
split the through hull. I hope this is not too hard to replace. I
would guess I would have to remove the fuel tank. Comments anyone?

Hi Alan

We make the inserts or the complete drain fitting made in Admiralty
Bronze by a Vega owner in The Medway. Prices are £5 for the insert or
£25 for the complete fitting. We should have some more available by
Christmas.

Kind Regards

Hi Steve

I would think that I would need the whole fitting. It looks like a
standard through hull fitting. That is with a nut on the inside and
a boss on the outside. (Unlike the one in the photos.) It has a
slotted screw plug.

I will make a list of the Vega specific fittings that I need and
order them all at once. (plugs, anodes etc...)

Dear Steve,

reading your replies I realize that you really have access to a much
larger number of Vega-essential items than what's in the catalogue you
kindly sent out to me a while ago. I was wondering whether you might
consider collecting a list of ALL the Vega-related items that you are
able to sell and either post it on the web or make an updated, more
complete catalogue? Hint, hint: Xmas is coming on, and many a Vega
sailor might want to "accidentally" leave the catalogue open on a
particular page for significant others to see...

Hi Seb

I agree that it would be great to get all the Vega bits on a single
brochure. I will be trying to do it this weekend but busy working at the
moment at my real job (Electronics) as I have to pay the bills as well!
Should have the keel drain kits ready by the end of the week as well.

Kind Regards
