Have not used our stove in about 5 years and thought it was time.
I tried opening the propane valve and there was adequate pressure.
I then put the solenoid switch on the breaker panel to "on" (even though the book says to put it to 'off').

Tried lighting with the sparker and with a match.

No luck.

I thought maybe I should try filling the tank but it looked liked adequate pressure (showed 110 which is PSI?)

Any ideas?

Sometimes, if the stove hasn't been used for a long period, you have to wait quite a while before the gas gets to the burner. Can you smell the propane?

Could not smell the propane.
I will leave it go longer next time.
Just with the gas value open and the solenoid open or do you have to also open the valve at the stove to let gas come thru...?

yes you have to turn a burner on. I would turn it on and sniff for propane.

Thanks, Rick. I will give it a try next weekend.
Appreciate the help.

I'm 90 miles from the boat at the moment but seem to recall:
Turn on the gas valve at the tank,
Turn on the power to the solenoid at the breaker panel,
Turn on the burner and press the burner knob in to start the gas flow,
Continue to press on the knob until the burner has been lit for 20-30 seconds while the thermocouple heats and allows the gas to continue flowing.

I'll be at the boat Wednesday to confirm this works.

I think I forgot the "press in the knob" part. I will put it on 'pilot' and do everything you said.
That should work. Thanks!

One more item to check.Have some one listening near th esolenoid when you turn the solenoid breaker ON they should hear a loud click / sanp when the solenoid opens.
We had an issue when we took delivery of our 1997 B 321 (new to us)The stove would light but with very small flame solenoid was only partially opening.
Replaced solenoid stove works great

Thanks for all the advice. You guys should re-write the manual since it was not as clear as your directions. Went to the boat and it works perfectly!

Thanks so much.
