Galley Foot Pumps: What's what?

There are two foot pumps in the galley in the boat we are working at buying (Currently "Jammin'", Hull #791). One on the floor near the sink that operates the smaller water spigot. And one just aft of the stove. We have no idea what this operates or is supposed to operate. Can anyone share with me what this does?

It might pump out the ice chest. That's how both of my Beneteau boats were plumbed.
