My Oceanis 40.1 galley fiddles took some heavy use last summer, anyone had to re-paint or touch up their counters/fiddles? Any prep or product recommendations?

I finally got back up to my boat to do this. Went to the Bellingham Sherwin Williams store and they set me right up with a quart of color matched enamel, 100 sanding pad and a foam brush. Sanded it off the whole top surface and put on 2 thin coats. Color match perfect, went on nice and smooth-hope it lasts better than the factory job

Looks nice! I wonder if all 40.1’s have the fiddle painted or if that was a previous owner mod. On the 37 (with dark wood) the fiddles are just stained the same color as the cabinetry, not matched to the counter.
No, I am original owner, it’s a 2022 model. Here’s photo after it dried overnight. We’ll see if the paint touch up lasts any better than factory paint I guess

Something must have hit the fiddle hard to chip brand new paint.
