I want to replace the galley faucet on my 92 Hunter 30. Right now, it has an Empire faucet. Does anyone know if it is 4 or 5 inch center? Has anyone replaced this faucet with a single-handle faucet? Was it much work to make it fit?

Thanks

I have an older Hunter, but typically the single handle faucets have the pipes on the central hole so the only mod may be to enlarge the central hole. Look carefully at the measurements beween the sink edge and the edge of the countertop to make sure you have enough room for the new trim pllate that hides the old holes under the original faucet. I changed my sink and my head basin faucets to single handle because I believe that they conserve water compared to two handles. You may need adapters for the connections .. mine threaded right together.

I installed this faucet 2 years ago. Easy install and looks great. It’s a bar sink faucet.

Faucets are fairly standard across brands, I've found.. shouldn't be a big issue.

It’s 4” center to center. You should have an access panel just below the counter top behind the settee cushion that backs up to the sink. It’s simple to replace. I replaced ours a few years ago with one I got from an RV website. Work OK, but I’m still looking for something more substantial
