Galley faucet continually running

My 1999 Hunter 310 has developed a continually hot water running faucet when the knob is 100% closed. The only way to turn it off is to turn off the power at the 12v water pump switch on the panel. I have removed the handle to replace the gasket only to find one not there. I also looked at the working cold water, and saw the exact same setup (no gasket). Any ideas on how to turn off the water flow?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Is it one of the faucets with the "crystal" plastic knobs, or does have triangular knobs?

Have you unscrewed the valve stem assembly and looked at the washer? Replacing that solves a lot of problems. Or try putting some pliers on the grooved part where the knobs mate up with the valve stem and see if you can stop the flow that way if the washer is ok.

I'm also experiencing a leaky galley faucet on our same year H340, right at the base, which seems to be caused by the way the valve stem is designed to hold the rectangular trim part on the faucet. I modified the trim piece and will try it out tomorrow and let you know what I find.

Ultimate fix is to replace the faucet assembly, ours is on a 4 inch center which is unusual in a kitchen set so probably need to go with a single lever. Unscrewing the old faucet from underneath the Corian is a real bugger - I had to pull up the entire countertop in the head to remove the old faucet in there.

I repaired/rebuilt the galley faucets on my 2000 H340 last year. I took off the crystal knobs and unscrewed the valve stems. The stems use a 00 valve stop on bottom and #8 & #12 O rings on the stem. The pivoting faucet takes a #12 0-ring.

If the seat gasket isn't the problem, pull the valve and take it to a big box DIY store to match it up with a replacement. Cost is under $12 for both hot and cold.

I seem to have fixed my leaky valve stem for now. May have to replace the stem orings next time. I trimmed the holes in the cover piece so it fit fully down over the stems.

On our 1990 Hunter 33.5 I replaced the Galley Fawcett with a Price Pfister Laundry Fawcett (2 valves & 4" Ctrs). Got it at Lowe's. easy replacement.

For info, also replaced Vanity Fawcett with a Glacier Bay, 2 valve w/ 4" Ctrs. That was from Home Depot. Also an easy replacement.

Thanks for the advice all. I will try taking it apart after I replace the halyard issue first.
