Galley cooler drain

For those who moved their cooler drain to the sink drain and out of the bilge, I assume it tapped in like immediately above the seacock right?

Mine is connected right above the seacock. I have a 25' make sure you put a valve between sink drain and cooler. On mine the cooler bottom is right at water line. So sea water can enter and sink will flow into cooler instead of out the bottom. So cooler drain valve needs to stay closed except when you want to drain.
